Master Chen YouZe

Master Chen Youze (陈有则) is a 20th-generation descendant of Chen Family in Chenjiagou, Henan Province, and a 12th-generation Chen Family Taijiquan inheritor. He is the eldest son of internationally renowned Grandmaster Chen Qingzhou. He was a three-time national confrontational push-hand champion in his late 20’s and served as Head Coach for provincial and national teams including Guan Dao teams for the first and third International Taijiquan Conference. He is a well respected judge at regional and national competitions for wushu forms, weapons and Chen Style push hands.

Widely acknowledged for his distinctive fajin 發勁 power, his refined skill and commanding presence have earned him a reputation for embodying the spirit of “Magnificent Tai Chi Power” (太极雄风), and the recognition as one of China’s “Ten Stars of Tai Chi” (“太极十星”).

He was frequently invited to martial arts events and workshops in the US, and was featured on the covers of T’ai Chi Magazine (December 2008) and Kung Fu Tai Chi Magazine (July/August 2014).
